Arlington Mayor to Participate in 11th Annual Red Kettle Challenge This Saturday

The competition is on! Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams is encouraging the community to show its support for The Salvation Army during the 11th annual Mayoral Red Kettle Challenge this Saturday, Dec. 14. Williams is one of 10 North Texas mayors participating in The Salvation Army Mayoral Red Kettle Challenge, which aims to raise $100,000 to help the nonprofit provide services for children and families in Arlington and the Mid-Cities area. Williams, City Council members and community volunteers will ring bells and collect donations between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday at Decorator's Warehouse, 3708 W. Pioneer Parkway in Arlington. Those who are interested in helping can also make an online donation on Williams' Mayoral Red Kettle Challenge page by clicking here or by texting ARLINGTON to 71777.
