Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams to Host Telephone Town Hall on COVID-19 March 31, 2020

Coronavirus Update 

Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams will host a live telephone town hall on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, to answer residents’ questions about the City’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Those who are interested in participating in the virtual town hall meeting are asked to call 888-409-5380 at 6 p.m. to listen in for important information or to ask a question. Those who want to participate can also pre-register online up until 4 p.m. March 31 to receive a phone call when the telephone town hall begins. City representatives, including Fire Chief Don Crowson, Police Chief Will Johnson and Arlington’s Public Health Authority, Dr. Cynthia Simmons, will also be available to answer questions and provide information about the current Stay Home, Work Safe order in effect in Arlington through at least April 3, 2020. The Arlington City Council approved travel, work and public gathering restrictions on March 24 as part of a joint effort with Fort Worth and Tarrant County to fight against the spread of the respiratory disease, COVID-19.
