Culture Buzz Visits Africa Found: Links and Lineage Through Art Exhibit at UT Arlington

An all-new Culture Buzz episode on MyArlingtonTV visits The University of Texas at Arlington’s Fine Art Collections for a special look at Africa Found: Links and Lineage through Art.

The art exhibition showcases historic indigenous artworks from across the African continent alongside contemporary arts by African and African American artists linking to shared pasts.

This exhibition is in collaboration with The University of Texas at Arlington Libraries Special Collections’ exhibition titled, Searching for Africa, which you canlearn more about on the UTA Libraries website.

Africa Found: Links and Lineage through Art is on display through Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, in the VRC Gallery on the second floor of the Fine Arts Building, located at 700 Greek Row Drive. The exhibit is open 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Art displayed from The University of Texas at Arlington’s Fine Art Collections' Africa Found: Links and Lineage through Art exhibition.
