Arlington Water Utilities customers should feel assured that our tap water continues to meet all water quality standards set by the US EPA and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Arlington Water Utilities relies on the medical and research community for guidance on issues such as water flouridation. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calls community water fluoridation one of the 10 great public health achievements of the 20th Century for its proven effectiveness at reducing the occurrence and severity of tooth decay. The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Dental Association and the World Health Organization also continue to support community water fluoridation at levels recommended by a large body of evidence-based research.

We continue to follow the prevailing medical research and view community water fluoridation as a safe practice with proven benefits to public health.

Arlington Water Utilities' yearly water quality report is published in June. It can be found her: www.arlingtontx.gov/waterccr
