Dream Builders is a show on MyArlingtonTV that highlights the ways our community is helping kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.

The latest Dream Builders episode features River Legacy Living Science Center's Nature School. The goal of the program is to provide an environment that encourages kids to dream big and tap into their sense of wonder and curiosity to flourish.

3-year-old children focus on River Legacy Park’s animal and plant life, exploring what they need to survive. The program provides opportunities to encounter ladybugs and snails, earthworms and opossums, native wildflowers and so much more.

4 & 5/6-year-old children (not yet enrolled in kindergarten) turn their attention to River Legacy Park’s habitats and how they meet the needs of creatures that live there. Among the units of study are The Living Tree, The Forest Floor, The Decaying Log, and The Creek.

The River Legacy Living Science Center's recent renovations feature an updated, interactive Exhibit Hall, bringing nature and nature lovers together in the same place.

The $2.5 million renovation of the Exhibit Hall allows learners of all ages to see ecosystems change through four seasons, touch riverbank burrows and play games, among other interactive activities.
