The most wonderful time of the year, the holiday season is here! Mark your calendar for these upcoming December events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.

Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair – Saturday, December 2

The much-loved 24th Annual Olde Town Christmas Craft Fair hosted by Dottie Lynn Recreation Center is back on Saturday, December 2 from 9 AM – 5 PM! Join us for photos with Santa, Craft Stations, treats, and more as you enjoy some holiday shopping with the family. A wide variety of local vendors will offer handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces, so you’re sure to find something you love!

Claus & Paws – Friday, December 8

Bring your best-dressed pets and take a picture with Santa himself at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center! Call or register online to secure your spot. Dottie Lynn staff will contact and confirm your time slot. Pictures are scheduled every 5 minutes starting at 6:30PM.

Pilsners & Pickleball Social – Friday, December 8

Join us for a night of open play pickleball at Arlington Tennis Center with prizes, beer, games, food trucks, music and more from 6-10 PM! $5 entry fee per person. Registration is required. Registration includes court access for open play pickleball. Non-registrants may still attend with $5 entry fee, which allows attendees to compete in the skills challenge, play yard games, eat and drink while enjoying the evening.

Photos With Santa – Saturday, December 9

Bring your camera and smile big for Santa as he makes a special visit to The Beacon Recreation Center for some seasonal snapshots! Photo slots will begin at 10 AM and end by noon. Register online to secure your time slot. The cost is $5. All ages welcome!

Pancakes & Pajamas (50+ yrs) – Tuesday, December 12

Seniors, join in on the holiday fun at East Library and Recreation Center by having breakfast with us in your favorite PJs! We will serve pancakes, orange juice, and play festive games together from 9:30 - 11 AM. We will also have the opportunity to donate pajamas to those who are less fortunate through the Pajamas For Seniors organization.

Cookies With The Clauses – Saturday, December 16

The Clauses are in town and they’re visiting East Library and Recreation Center on December 16 from 10 AM – 12 PM! Everyone is invited to come decorate cookies, play festive games, and make some holiday crafts with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at this special holiday event. Don't forget your camera for pictures with the Claus family! Families are welcome.
