The Make a Splash is a free community event which was created to promote water safety. This is an especially pressing issue during the summer months when most swimming occurs within the City of Arlington.

This event is just one of the ways Arlington Aquatics is looking to protect our kids and teens this summer. The division's "April Pools Day" Mock Drowning event on April 11 will showcase the Arlington Fire Department's protocol when dealing with an emergency at the pools and informed attendees about pool safety best practices.
