In January 2019, the Arlington City Council appointed 26 community members to represent the various historically undercounted communities within Arlington. Along with these members, the Complete Count Committee consists of seven City staff representatives.

Outreach Strategy

Using data driven analysis in conjunction with the local knowledge, the Complete Count Committee developed an outreach strategy outlining targeted efforts throughout Arlington to provide information, dispel myths, and get people excited about the 2020 Census.

Meetings

In January 2019, the Complete Count Committee began to meet monthly to discuss different hard-to-count communities and brainstorm outreach activities, events, and resources within each. Ideas were collected and organized and will ultimately culminate in a comprehensive outreach plan for ensuring a complete count of Arlington residents.

All Census Complete Count Committee meetings were held in the Council Briefing Room, 3rd Floor City Hall (101 W Abram Street, Arlington, TX 76010)
