Moise, Gonzalez and Hogg Sworn In During May 17 Arlington City Council Meeting; Long Pham Sworn in June 28

Surrounded by family and friends, District 1 Representative Helen Moise, District 2 City Council representative Raul H. Gonzalez and District 7 At-Large Representative Bowie Hogg were sworn in during the May 17 evening council meeting. After winning the June 18 run-off election, District 6 At-Large Representative Long Pham was sworn in during the June 28 evening council meeting.

Moise and Gonzalez, who ran unopposed, were re-elected to two-year terms during the May 7 General Election. Bowie Hogg was elected to his first term as the District 7 At-Large City Council representative. Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Victoria Farrar-Myers has served as the District 7 representative since 2016.

A runoff election between candidates Long Pham and Albert Parra was scheduled Saturday, June 18 for the open at-large District 6 City Council seat. Ruby Faye Woolridge has served as the District 6 representative since 2020.
