Dog of the Week – Meet Yoga

This two-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and black in color and weighs 60 pounds. Yoga is a VIP pet due to having tested positive for heartworms but that doesn’t slow her down at all. This dog has never met a stranger and loves everyone. Beyond sweet and gentle is an appropriate description of this dog. She walks well on a leash and is eager to get out and about. Her desire is to be a lap dog as she loves attention. Yoga exercise is gentle, relaxes your mind and reduces stress—the same things that adopting this dog, Yoga, can do. She is patiently waiting for a new pet guardian to adopt her. Following through with necessary heartworm treatment would give her a new lease on life. Reduced adoption fees are available for VIP pets. Meet Yoga at Dog Adoptions (DA) 23, her ID number is A50393850.

Cat of the Week – Meet Parma

This one-and-half year old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown and black Tabby. A very alert, inquisitive feline, Parma is keen on being adopted as soon as possible. She is very affectionate and likes being rubbed on her cheeks responding with a quiet purr. Just being by your side while receiving affection is agreeable to her. She is one of the staff favorites because she is so loving. While she usually will interact with string toys and show off her acrobatic skills, during this visit she was just interested in being petted. Don’t miss a “pawsome” opportunity to adopt a loving feline from the shelter today. Meet Parma at Cat Adoptions (CA) 23, her ID number is A50423425.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
