Dog of the Week – Meet Audrey
This six-year-old female German Shepherd mix is tan and black in color and weighs 86 pounds. This older canine really needs more room to spread her wings. More room than a shelter kennel is on her wish list. It is hard for her to contain her excitement when she is released from the kennel to go to the play yard. She's very active and a bit of a chatterbox. Our staff and volunteers agree she has a really sweet disposition. Walking well on a leash is one of her best accomplishments. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Wallace
This seven-year, two-month-old male German Shepherd mix is black and tan in color and weighs 61 pounds. You don't need to check your eyes... yes, we have featured Wallace before as a pet of the week selection. He's still in the shelter and is a longtime resident at over two months’ time. As presented previously, Wallace is still working on his shyness, but he will warm up to you as long as you are patient. He is partial to "pets". It is hard to control his excitement when he gets to go outside and burn off some of his pent-up energy from being in the kennel. This great looking shepherd possesses the personality of a fun-loving dog and is content to take in new sights and hang out with "hoomans".
