Come along for a mouthwatering ride and catch The American Dream City's cultural diversity and unique cuisine with Arlington Eats on MyArlingtonTV.

In this month's edition of Arlington Eats, host Andrew Tanielian shows us how some Arlington restaurants are safely, and creatively, reopening to serve customers.

When the coronavirus outbreak forced restaurants to close their dining rooms, owners quickly adjusted and found creative ways to keep feeding the community.

J. Gilligan's owner Randy Ford turned his bar and grill into a drive-thru. Even though parts of the restaurant have reopened to guests, the drive-thru is staying. Ford says no matter how people choose to enjoy the food, their support has made a huge difference.

"The people have been really wonderful supporting us," Ford said. "Not just buying food but making an effort to be extra kind."

Johanna Storm, owner of Storm Farms, says she felt that kindness as well.

"People have been even more supportive than normal," Storm said. "People have come out and been happy to see us here and happy to see us open."

Some restaurants with smaller dining rooms are still offering take-out only. But no matter how you like to dine, you're sure to find excellent options in The American Dream City.
