Ana Valdez Keller Williams

Arlington realtor, Ana Valdez, loves to celebrate her client’s victories.

“I love my job. I feel like my clients are my friends or family,” Valdez laughed. “I have some clients even tell me, ‘You’re more excited than me about me getting this house.’”

Valdez thinks it’s important to remember the Golden Rule, “Treat others how you want to be treated,” not only when doing business, but in her everyday life. She grew up in Arlington, attending Berry Elementary School and Lamar High School. She had always wanted to help people and had originally been thinking of going into the medical field. Valdez was studying radiology when she found her way into real estate.

Around 13 years ago, Valdez had a friend whose house burned down, and her aunt was working in property management. With some coaxing from her aunt, Valdez went and helped her in the office, and she saw this person get a new home, and how excited he was.

“My aunt said, ‘we are going to get him shelter’ and I saw that joy. And I thought, that’s so beautiful, you’re giving someone a place to live,” Valdez remembered. “After that I told my tía that I think I want to be a realtor, and that’s how I got into real estate.”

Valdez has been a realtor for nine years and has worked with Keller Williams for the past four years. She has been voted in the top 500 realtors for the last three years.

Valdez is fluent and offers services in both English and Spanish. “About 90% of my clients speak Spanish, and I think it’s so important to help guide them and walk them through this process,” Valdez said. “I have so many beautiful stories from clients who didn’t think owning a home was possible, and it’s very emotional for them.”

You can learn more about Valdez at her website, or you can call her at 817-881-4022. Or you can visit the One Start Development Center, on the second floor at City Hall from March 25-29, 2024 during Small Business Promotion week. The City’s Planning and Development Service Department is also hosting Customer Appreciation Week during the same time and will be providing refreshments and bottled water for the customers visiting the Small Business Promotion table.

The City of Arlington is highlighting East Arlington small businesses throughout 2024. Canales Furniture, another Small Business of Arlington, who has grown substantially in the last few years, wants to give back to the community and is sponsoring this program with the Planning & Development Services Department for the year 2024. In their new headquarters at 102 E. I-20 Highway, they have dedicated a training room for their growing community, including free English-speaking classes, citizenship classes, and teaching small businesses on how to utilize social media as a marketing tool.
