Created in 2014 by the City Manager's Office, this committee has representation for the City's Service Teams and Departments as well as the Associations and Retiree groups appointed by the City Manager's Office, Directors and Association Presidents.

The City of Arlington Benefits Committee (CABC) will provide a communications link between the plan benefits administrators and the plan participants, facilitate easy accessibility to the health benefits program, and develop a sustainable health benefits program for employees and retirees at an affordable cost.

Members are responsible for representing the service team/department/association/retirees by bringing feedback and suggestions to the CABC concerning how the CABC can improve the benefits program and will be involved in providing feedback for strategic planning as well as in developing recommendations for the health benefits plan.
