Security Deposit for Commercial Customers- A security deposit is required for ALL commercial accounts. For each account premise, the security deposit is 2.5 times the prior pattern of monthly consumption or a minimum of $300. The deposit is refunded when the account is closed. A separate security deposit must be paid for each premise/service. Letters of credit are not accepted.
*** Information for realtors, property managers, and landlord/owners- In some cases, water may still be available at rental properties after a renter has finalized their account. Property owners or managers who plan to use water in a vacant property must establish a current account for billing before water is used. To allow time to advertise and fill vacancies, the security deposit for realtors, property management companies, and landlord/owners is typically deferred to the second month's billing.
