Police Activities League (PAL) Camp is a week-long summer day camp designed for students who will enter 8th or 9th grade in the fall. This free program, which is run by APD’s School Resource Officer Unit, engages students in activities that build character, leadership, trust, and responsibility. Participating campers will gain self-confidence, make new friends, and have fun!

Camp Activities
Each week-long camp features a variety of activities such as interactive games, field trips, and demonstrations by different units within the department that give campers a unique and up-close look at the work APD officers do.
Past activities have included yoga, laser tag, dodgeball, rocket launches, trips to AT&T Stadium & Great Wolf Lodge, and visits by APD’s SWAT Team & Mounted Unit.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided.
One of the goals of the program is to foster trust and positive relationships between students and police officers, which is why APD officers will participate in all PAL Camp activities alongside campers.
PAL Camp is made possible by a number of supporters, including the Arlington Police Foundation, local churches, businesses, and community volunteers.
