The Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program is a Federally funded program regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), managed and operated in Arlington by the Housing Authority of the City of Arlington (AHA).

Primary Target Populations Include Persons With:

  • Serious mental illness
  • Chronic problems with alcohol and / or drugs
  • HIV / AIDS

Program Goals Include:

  • Residential Stability
  • Increased skill level and or income
  • Greater self determination

Criteria for Eligibility:

Generally, home-less persons are referred to the AHA for participation in the PSH program by the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition for assessment into coordinate entry and agency partners:
