The Citizen Services division handles bankruptcy and collection matters for the City, which includes debt owed to the City due to damage of City property, delinquent fees, and water utility amounts. The attorneys in this division provide legal support for real estate matters, whether purchasing or selling property, oil and gas leases, or eminent domain proceedings. This division houses the municipal court prosecutors and provides legal support for the municipal court as well as code enforcement officers. This division coordinates legal support for City staff in the event of an emergency that involves operation of the City’s emergency management center.
