Check Your Mailbox or Email Starting Dec. 15, 2023, for Arlington’s Annual City Survey Invitation
The City of Arlington is calling for participation in the annual Citizen Satisfaction Survey. The anonymous and confidential online survey, which is available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese, is designed to gather residents’ opinions about city services.
Since 2000, the City has conducted this annual survey among city residents in partnership with Decision Analyst, an Arlington-based independent market research company.
"The information obtained from this annual online survey provides the City of Arlington with valuable feedback about its programs, services and infrastructure investments, as well as how residents stay up to date with information on what’s happening in their neighborhoods," Budget Administrator Devon Waters said.
The selection pool of random respondents consists of all occupied addresses within Arlington and email databases gathered from various city departments. If you have an email address associated with your water account or library card, you could potentially be selected to participate.
Those who are randomly selected to complete the 2023 survey will be contacted, either by post card or email, with instructions and login information. Be on the lookout for an email from the City of Arlington Citizen Satisfaction Survey.
The online survey will close on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024.

Waters encourages all randomly selected residents to participate.
"If selected to participate in the survey, it is important that we receive completed surveys by the deadline. Besides telling us how well we deliver services to our residents, the survey is also used by the City to address potential areas in need of improvement, plan for the next fiscal year, and provide performance management data," Waters said. "We really appreciate the residents taking the time to provide us with this important information."
