Free Concerts at Levitt Pavilion for Performing Arts

People can' t stop talking about the dynamic artists performing at the Levitt Pavilion in Downtown Arlington. If you haven' t made it to the Levitt, don' t worry. More great shows are scheduled for this weekend, so grab your lawn chairs, bring the food and coolers, and enjoy a night under the stars. All concerts are FREE to the public.

Friday: Spoonfed Tribe - celebrating living jazz artists with a big band sound.

Saturday: Uncle Lucius - Austin-based indie group takes rock and roll from its deep roots and pushes it onward by adding their own honest interpretations.

Sunday: Danny Wright - Enchanting compositions to warm the heart.

Party on the Patio: The Rumble Kings

Go on a musical journey this Friday night as The Rumble Kings perform some of the very best rock & roll, swing, blues, classic/southern rock and party rock songs from the 50' s through the 80' s. Make it a memorable evening for the entire family, filled with food, drink specials and great music by local bands. Cover charge is $7 for adults. Children 17 and under are admitted free. Food line opens are 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m.

One World One Sky: Bird Bird' s Adventure

Young kids will enjoy this wonderful adventure at the Planetarium at the UT Arlington. Watch Big Bird join forces with Elmo and his Chinese friend Hu Hu Zhu locate the Big Dipper, the North Star and the Moon in the night sky. Use your imagination to explore the moon and outer space. Ideal for kids ages 5-8. The show begins Saturday at 1 p.m. and runs for 30 minutes. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children, students and seniors. Kids under three get in free.

Father' s Day on the Field

Join Cowboys Stadium for a Father' s Day to remember. This Saturday, tour Cowboys Stadium with dad, watch him take photos with Super Bowl trophies and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, or meet a former Dallas Cowboys legend. Kids can kick a field goal, throw passes or take pictures on the star at mid field. Another bonus: kids have a chance to meet two Minions from the movie Despicable Me 2.
