More Than 60,000 Items Available at Library Foundation Book Sale

Looking for a good book to read this weekend?

Stop by the Friends of the Arlington Public Library's Spring Book Sale at the Meadowbrook Recreation Center, 1400 Dugan Street. Hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday (Half Price Day). Teachers are able to shop Sunday 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. The sale is expected to have over 60,000 items. Also, don't forget to stop by the Collector's Corner, you might find a real treasure.
Thousands of items are being featured: fiction, non-fiction, children's books, Collector's Corner, videos and books on tape, paperback fiction. Cash or check accepted - no credit cards. Proceeds will benefit the Arlington Public Library.

If you can't make the book sale, you can always purchase items through out the year by visiting http://shops.half.ebay.com/faplbooks. The Friends also need volunteers to help prepare for and staff the book sale. People are always needed for sorting and pricing materials. No experience is necessary - training will be provided.
