The Arlington Water Utilities Department and Arlington Public Library have partnered to bring you free family fun and educational activities designed to increase understanding of the urban environment and promote healthier choices.

Learn and Grow Fair

Master Gardener Classes for Adults

11 a.m.- 11:55 a.m.: Vegetable Gardening, Lance Jepson

Lawn Care Maintenance

Tuesday, March 12, 6- 8 p.m.

Instructor is Dr. Dotty Woodson, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service

This program covers basic lawn maintenance practices to improve the health and longevity of your landscape. Learn how to maintain your landscape using less water, fertilizer and pesticides.

The Edible Front Yard

Thursday, March 21, 6-8 p.m.

Instructor is Dr. Dotty Woodson, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service

This program shows you how to incorporate edible plants into your home garden and landscape. You will learn how herbs, fruits and vegetables can add to the colors and textures of your permanent landscape combining both aesthetics and functionality.
