The Arlington Independent School District currently has a total of 75 schools: 10 high schools, 13 junior high schools and 52 elementary schools. With over 62,000 students enrolled, the Arlington Independent School District is the 9th largest school District in Texas. 86% of the student body is involved in an advanced education track designed to prepare students for future employment and higher education. Arlington is currently served by 4 separate independent school districts; Arlington, Kennedale, Fort Worth and Mansfield, which is one of the fastest growing school districts in the state of Texas. TCC is the sixth largest college or university in Texas, in terms of enrollment. Home to the fastest growing community college campus in the Southwest, the City of Arlington and TCC Southeast campus have created a collaborative partnership link between education and business.
TCC-SE campus opened their doors in 1996, and has successfully served thousands of students through many academic and workforce development programs.
