The City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department has 30 park pavilions located at 27 various parks throughout the City. Park pavilions are perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, baby showers, weddings or other special occasions. We have pavilions that can accommodate events from 10 guests all the way 200. - Alcohol Use Permit: $50 per event
- Amplified Sound Permit: $50 per event
- Restrooms (Standard unit): $55 per unit
- Restrooms (ADA unit): $75 per unit
- Temporary Amenity Permit (example: Bounce House): $25 per amenity
- Temporary Amenity Permit (example: Piñata or video game truck): $50 per amenity
- Use of Trails Permit: $100 minimum (varies based on size of event)
- Police officer security ($45-60 per hour per officer, three hour minimum.)
Additional Information
- Any event with expected attendance over 200 persons need to contact customer service at 817-459-5473.
- Any event in which guests are consuming alcohol will be required to obtain an Alcohol Use Permit.
- Any event in which guests are planning on the use of microphones, loud stereos, musical instruments, or DJ's will be required to obtain an Amplified Sound Permit.
- Any event with an inflatable activity such as a bounce house will need a bounce house permit, use a City of Arlington approved vendor and follow guidelines. This list can be obtained by contacting customer service at 817-459-5743.
- Temporary Amenity Permit required for entertainment services such as Piñatas and pony rides.
- Use of trails permit required for all walk/run events in park. Use of trails will only be permitted with a pavilion reservation.
Police Security
- All events over 200 people are required to have police security.
- The Parks and Recreation Director, in consultation with the Arlington Police Department, reserves the right to require security at any event of any size on a case by case basis.
- When required, security shall be one (1) officer per 100 attendees over 200 or as otherwise needed as determined by the Director, and must be onsite during the duration of the event, with a three hour minimum.
- The Department shall make any and all necessary arrangements for police security, with the understanding the rental group shall be responsible for all such expenses to be paid at the time the services are rendered, at $50 per hour per officer or $60 per hour per officer on holidays.

Can I use a pavilion without a reservation?
- Yes, any pavilion unreserved for the day becomes available to the general public on a first come, first served basis.
Can I reserve a pavilion by the hour?
- You must reserve the pavilion in full day (fourteen hour) time blocks.
What happens if I reserve the pavilion and another group is using the pavilion when arrive during my reservation time?
- You need to contact the Arlington Police Department at the non-emergency line at 817-274-4444.
How can I rent or check availability of a pavilion?
- You can contact customer service at 817-459-5473.
What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellations are permitted with a $25 cancellation fee applied and must occur at least two weeks prior to the reservation date.
What if my event gets rained out?
- In the event of rain, the Parks and Recreation Department will issue your account a "Rain Check" for the reschedule of your event. You have up to one year to reschedule the rained out event.
What am I allowed to bring to my event?
- You may purchase extra permits to customize your rental. Check additional information for the fee schedule for additional permits such as alcohol use, piñata, amplified sound (where applicable), and bounce house permits. Please contact customer service at 817-459-5473 to see what other items need a permit or are prohibited.

What is the deposit to book?
- Payment is due in full at the time of reservation. The Parks and Recreation Department is not able to place any holds or retain any deposits for reservations. All monies must be paid to reserve.
