MYC Social Media Guidelines set for the appropriate and acceptable manners of social media use and participation by MYC members. “Social media” will include any one of a broad scope of online communication and tools that allow interaction, communication and information sharing including by not limited to:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- SnapChat
- Twitter
- Tumblr
- YouTube
It is important that all members understand that their behavior, including online, is a reflection of their character and must be represented in a positive manner.
Posts, shares and photos may not include:
- Any illegal activity or image
- Any inappropriate language or image
- Anything that may be perceived as bullying behavior
- Anything that could possibly represent the Commission and its members in a negative manner
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in disciplinary action which may include probation or termination of membership.
