Fire Rescue Support division manages and coordinates the non-traditional operations and business needs of the fire department. Fire Administration is responsible for “critical business elements” and the “customer service” sections of the Fire Department.
This section provides administrative management, active citizen/customer services, employee relations/human resource programs, logistical support efforts, and firefighter recruitment.
Fire Rescue Support is also where one will find the specialized people that manage the complex programs that enhance operations or require unique skill sets outside of the administrative unit.
These skills are found in professional staff and sworn personnel knowledgeable of unique low frequency/high risk operations, our public/private contracts, State and Federal grant programs and agreements with outside businesses or other governmental agencies.
Fire Rescue Support has five sections: Administration, Emergency Management, Medical Operations, Special Events and Prevention.
