Alessandra Cisneros, a senior at Seguin High School and a member of the AISD gymnastics team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for December 2018.

Cisneros, qualified for regionals in the beam and vault events during her junior year.

"Alessandra is a great kid," said Amber Fellers, the Arlington ISD Gymnastics Coach. "She is a senior at Seguin this year. This is her second year in our program. She came to us from another sport, just looking for something different to try, and she has done fantastic her last two years here."

Cisneros, whose favorite subject is science, plans to attend Tarrant County College and transfer to The University of Texas at Arlington to study education.
