This week's stories include:

• UTA's Homecoming 5K Race was a huge success, attracting a large crowd of students, faculty, alumni, and other community members.
• The UTA volleyball team suited up for its final regular season game at the College Park Center on Nov. 11 against the Texas State Bobcats.
• 17 teams competed for the prize in the 7thannual Chili Cook-off, where 600 students enjoyed tasting chili and showing their school spirit.
