1. Monster Energy AMA Supercross at AT&T Stadium

Monster Energy AMA Supercross – a spectacle that stands alone in the world of motorsports – is returning to AT&T Stadium in Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018! The most prestigious stadiums across North America are turned into modern-day coliseums where the most talented and fearless athletes on the planet battle in a grueling 17-race pursuit of the most coveted title in the sport over the course of just 18 weeks. 2. The Rat Pack is Back at Arlington Music Hall

With a stellar cast of some of the finest performers in the business, The Rat Pack is Back has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing the original Rat Pack themselves. The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, February 16, 2018. The show is now in its eighteenth year with more than 6,000 performances across the globe. 3. Live Music at Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club

Head over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club in Downtown Arlington for two nights of live music this weekend. On Friday night, singer/songwriter Clayton Gardner will take the stage at 9 p.m. On Saturday night, residents and visitors can check out Whitnye Raquel from the Fort Worth music scene. That show also starts at 9 p.m. Grease Monkey is located at 200 N Mesquite St, Arlington, TX 76011.

4. Coffee & Crafting at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center

Spend the morning enjoying good company, sipping on coffee/tea, and creating pampering Pinterest crafts like a variety of different bath bombs, vanilla latte or vanilla brown sugar scrub, and vanilla lip balm. Coffee and Crafting is this Saturday, February 17 from 9:15 – 11 a.m. and is $15 per person. Coffee/tea and craft supplies are included in the cost of the class. Registration is required. 5. Steve Moya & Christie Neale at Arlington Museum of Art

Check out the work by local artists Steve Moya and Christie Neale now through February 25 at Arlington Music Hall in Downtown. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Neale was trained in oil painting, which was her medium of choice for 20 years. She then began experimenting with resin after she was inspired by the courage of wounded veterans. For Steve Moya, painting iconic rockers and capturing the feel of them performing has been the focus of his work over the past 10 years. 6. Friday Night Films: Thor: Ragnarok

Arlington residents and visitors are invited to watch Thor: Ragnarok, the summer blockbuster from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie will be shown in the Rosebud Auditorium on the campus of UT Arlington. There will two viewing opportunities 4 p.m. & 8 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018. Tickets will be $3 and UTA EXCEL accepts either cash or card. Concessions, drinks, and free popcorn will be provided.

7. Live Music, Brew & Arts Show at Legal Draft Beer Co.

Join Legal Draft Beer Co. this weekend for two exciting events and local craft beers. On Friday, February 16, Carl Cyko, a musician from the north Fort Worth area, will perform from 5-7 p.m. The event is hosted by ArlingtoN NightS. On Saturday, the Brew and Arts crew is having anther Art Show with more artists and unique vendors from 12-6 p.m. Legal Draft is located at 500 E Division St, Arlington, TX 76011 in Downtown. 8. Van Darien at J.R. Bentley's

Van Darien is set to perform this Friday, February 16, 2018 at J.R. Bentley's in Downtown Arlington. Raised on folk and rock ‘n' roll, raspy vocals, lyrical stories and basic finger-picking, the Texas native will play from 8-11 p.m. Situated in a historic home, J.R. Bentley's has the feel of an authentic English pub and features several local and area bands throughout the year. The venue is located at 406 W Abram St, Arlington, TX 76010. 9. Bikes & Coffee at Urban Alchemy

Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar will be hosting Third Shift Moto's Saturday Mornings Bikes & Coffee from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, February 17. The vintage motorcycle shop specializes in vintage Japanese Motorcycles. The shop also provides service options for maintenance, troubleshooting, restorations and custom builds. Urban Alchemy held its soft open in Downtown Arlington on February 2, 2018. The coffee and wine bar is located at 403 E Main St, Arlington, TX 76010.

10. Ultimate Rock Paper Scissors Tournament at On Tap

Compete in the ultimate rock paper scissors tournament at On Tap in Downtown Arlington this Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 6-10 p.m. There will be a $100 cash prize for the winner. Signup starts at 6 p.m. and the tournament kicks off at 7 p.m. On Tap features 50 rotating taps of craft beer, ciders, root beer, and cold coffee. 12. Mobile Pet Adoption Event at PetSmart in the Arlington Highlands

Join Arlington Animal Services for a tail-wagging, family-friendly, pet-saving community event this Saturday, February 17 at the PetSmart in the Arlington Highlands, 203 E. Interstate I-20, Suite 101, Arlington, TX 76018. Adorable, adoptable pets looking for new homes will be available at the mobile adoption unit from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for immediate adoption. 13. HL RadioTV 106.5 FM and 30.6 TV's 15th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration

Celebrate the Year of the Dog next weekend at HL RadioTV 106.5 FM and 30.6 TV's 15th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration in Arlington. The celebration, which includes a Dragon Dance, starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, outside of the radio station, located in Ben Thanh Plaza, 1818 E. Pioneer Parkway, Suite 176, in east Arlington. The Lunar New Year, which begins Friday, February 16 this year, embraces the cultures of China, Korea, Vietnam and other countries that observe the lunar calendar.

14. Great Backyard Bird Count at the River Legacy Living Science Center

The Great Backyard Bird Count is a global, annual event sponsored by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society. The River Legacy Living Science Center is proud to participate in this global effort and, to that end, they are hosting the annual Great Backyard Bird Count Festival on Saturday, February 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Find more information here. 15. Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors.
