On the second floor of the new George W. Hawkes Downtown Library, the whirring sounds of machines can be heard throughout the Makerspace. This space was designed to let individuals learn and create projects using 3-D printing machines, a Carvey Milling Machine, Serger, Cricut vinyl and paper cutting and other devices.

The Makerspace, dedicated to modern learning, creativity and innovation, is open to all Arlington Public Library cardholders. Be sure to take advantage of the classes and clubs offered at the makerspace on the event calendar.
