2017 Spring Break at Six Flags Over Texas

Relieve the stress of homework and the daily grind during Spring Break at Six Flags Over Texas in The American Dream City from March 9-19, 2017. Galactic Attack Virtual Reality Coaster, the park's newest virtual reality coaster, will also make its debut to the general public for spring break on Thursday, March 9. Also featured at the park, will be AMP 103.7's Spring Break Out at Six Flags Over Texas on Saturday, March 18. This concert will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 at the Music Mill Amphitheater inside Six Flags. Tickets for the concert are $10 (plus park admission) and they can be purchased online or at the park.

Stomp Wars 2017

The largest teen step show in the nation comes back to Arlington for its' 11th year on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Stomp Wars is an explosive weekend event with high energy youth step teams performing as well as guest performances by the Dancing Dolls from Lifetimes Reality TV series "Bring It!" The event will take place at UT Arlington's College Park Center in Downtown from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.utatickets.com. Arlington Blues & Southern Soul Festival at Arlington Music Hall

The Arlington Blues and Southern Soul Festival will feature some the most talented Blues and Southern Soul Artist the Metroplex has to offer. The audience will witness the first volume of the Arlington Blues and Southern Soul Festival Series, presented by The Arlington Music Hall and Jim Austin Online on Saturday, March 11 at Arlington Music Hall. The festival runs from 5 p.m. to midnight. The host for the evening will be Mike Guinn, an East Texas Native who has an international reputation as one of the most engaging performance artist and emcees in the world. Richard Marx at Arlington Music Hall

As a performer, songwriter and producer, Richard Marx's nearly three-decade-long career has had innumerable of highlights. The Chicago native has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, starting with his self-titled debut which went to #8 and spawned four Top 5 singles, including the chart-topping "Hold on to the Nights," with "Don't Mean Nothing" earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. Marx hits the Arlington Music Hall stage this Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in Downtown. Nature Walk at River Legacy Living Science Center

Explore the nature trails surrounding the Science Center on a family-friendly guided Nature Walk. This event is completely free to attend. However, space is limited. Please RSVP by calling 817.860.6752. Nature Walks are held the second Saturdays of every month. River Legacy Park's Science Center offers several exhibits, trails & education programs throughout the year. You can find a complete calendar of upcoming events on the River Legacy website. Spring Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium has announced its spring schedule of shows through May 28, 2017.This lineup is featured in the latest episode of "Culture Buzz" and includes Phantom of the Universe, a new planetarium show that unveils scientists' efforts to explore Dark Matter. The show focuses on the Large Hadron Collider, the gigantic underground particle detector which is being used to explore the inner workings of the matter. Dark Matter is invisible and we only know of its existence due to its gravitational effect. It is believed that 85 percent of the matter in the universe is Dark Matter.
