1. Arlington Public Library's Medieval Arts Festival

Old is new, as it's time for our 16th annual Medieval Arts Festival. Visitors to Arlington's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library, 100 S. Center St., can experience the Medieval world from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3. Return to the days of knights, chivalry and castles and experience the Middle Ages as history comes to life! Medieval Arts Festival is brought to you by the Arlington Public Library as well as costumed members of the Society for Creative Anachronism, with live demonstrations and educational exhibits. In addition, local author Katy Beebe will read to the kids and Medieval Facts Examiner Troy Depue will have fun with facts and trivia. 2. Food Truck Friday Lunch Series - LAST ONE

Join the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department this Friday, November 2 for the last Food Truck Lunch of the fall season. Residents and visitors can grab food between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion, 100 W. Abram St. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets to the food truck events, as seating is limited. 3. Live Music at Texas Live!

Check out live music this weekend at Texas Live!, the new $250 million world-class dining, entertainment and hospitality district located near the Rangers' Globe Life Park and Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in The American Dream City. Arlington Backyard, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, is expected to host more than 250 events annually. Several bands will perform throughout the evening on Friday, Nov. 2 at Lockhart Smokehouse, Troy's and the Live! Arena. 4. Puppy Yoga at Texas Live!

Come enjoy some "downward dog" time at our Yoga and Adoption event benefiting the Humane Society of North Texas at the Arlington Backyard this Saturday from 12-2 PM! The Humane Society will have a table set up, offering adoption services, answering any questions you have about their organization, as well as providing the adoptable puppies during our yoga class! Your ticket also enters you into a raffle for a month of free yoga at the Arlington Yoga Center. Please bring your own mat and water. 5. The Kingston Trio at Arlington Music Hall

Fans of legendary folk icons The Kingston Trio will soon have an opportunity to re-discover their timeless music in a national tour to mark the group's 60th anniversary on a national tour performing many of the Trio's best-loved songs. All three current members, Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton and Bob Haworth have intrinsic links to and experience with the original group. They will perform this Friday, Nov. 2 at Arlington Music Hall in Downtown at 7:30 p.m. Residents and visitors can purchase tickets online or call the box office at 817-226-4400.

6. Wynonna & The Big Noise at Arlington Music Hall

Respected by the millions of fans who are drawn to her music and undeniable talent, Wynonna's rich and commanding voice has sold over 30-million albums worldwide spanning her remarkable 34-year career. Wynonna & The Big Noise will perform this Saturday, Nov. 3 at Arlington Music Hall in Downtown at 7:30 p.m. Wynonna and her band The Big Noise, led by her husband/drummer/producer, Cactus Moser, released their debut full-length album in February 2016 via Curb Records to critical acclaim. 7. Free Feral Cat Sunday for Arlington Feral/Community Cats!

The City of Arlington in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society is offering a free spay/neuter clinic for Arlington Feral and Community Cats in all Arlington ZIP codes. Cat drop off is 8 to 9 a.m., with return for pickup at 4 p.m. every Sunday through November 18, 2018 at the Arlington Animal Services Center. This offer is good to the first 20 Arlington Feral/Community Cats to arrive between 8-9 a.m. Feral Cats must be in a trap. Kittens must be at least three (3) months old. 8. Live Music at Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club

Head over to Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club in Downtown Arlington for live music this weekend. On Friday, November 2, enjoy 57 Sauce, a hometown band that started up in 2012, at 9 p.m. Strum & Drum will perform on Saturday, November 3 at 9 p.m. Nate Huneycutt - Guitar/Vocals and John Moran - Percussion/Vocals will play classic rock, modern rock, country, pop, and blues tunes in an acoustic setting. 9. Live Music at J.R. Bentley's

Check out live music with Neil Schnell this Friday, November 2, 2018 at J.R. Bentley's in Downtown Arlington. The show starts at 8 p.m. On Saturday, enjoy live music with Sweet T on the Patio at 8 p.m. Situated in a historic home, J.R. Bentley's has the feel of an authentic English pub and features several local and area bands throughout the year. The venue is located at 406 W Abram St, Arlington, TX 76010. 10. Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors. This includes Spacepark 360: Infinity, a planetarium show designed to recreate the experience of amusement park thrill rides, roller coasters, pendulums, inverters and more.
