Tucker Thompson, a senior on Arlington High School's football team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for October 2018.
Thompson, a cornerback for the Colts, is among the leaders in the DFW metroplex with six interceptions on the season. His efforts on the field have helped Arlington High School get off to an 8-0 start.
"I've been very proud of Tucker Thomspson," said Scott Peach, Head Football Coach at Arlington High School. "He's our lock down corner, one of our top football players, but he's also a great kid. He's been a tremendous leader for our program and a great student in the classroom."
Thompson's favorite subject in school is math and he plans to attend San Diego State University after he graduates from Arlington High School.
