The 2016 UT Arlington All-Sports Banquet presented by Texas Trust is Wednesday, May 4 at College Park Center.
The keynote address will be delivered by Emily Jones, a longtime media fixture in Dallas-Fort Worth who is currently the Texas Rangers field reporter and host of Rangers Insider.
The All Sports Banquet recognizes the successes of UTA student-athletes in the arena of competition, as well as their academic achievements and community involvement.
"The All-Sports Banquet celebrates the wonderful accomplishments of our student-athletes throughout the year," said Debbie Garcia, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Academics, Compliance and Student Welfare. "This event is our chance to bring those accomplishments to light for the entire UT Arlington community."
Awards include the B.G. Wilson Scholar Athlete of the Year (Male and Female), the UTA Athletics Alumni Club Student-Athlete of the Year (Male and Female), the Big Al's Community Service Award (Male and Female), the Academic Excellence Award for the highest team GPA (Men's and Women's) and the Texas Trust Star Award.
Dinner lines for the All-Sports Banquet begin at 6 p.m. at College Park Center. Individual tickets are $25 and available for purchase at UTATickets.com.
Table sponsorships are available. A $250 sponsorship includes four tickets, recognition for the support at the All-Sports Banquet, plus the option of sitting with two student-athletes. A $500 sponsorship includes four tickets, recognition and the option of sitting with a head coach.
