Runners will once again get the chance to run The American Dream City as registration is now open for the Lone Star Half Marathon & Mayor's 5K on April 24, 2016.
The Lone Star Half Marathon and Mayor's 5K will start and finish at the Levitt Pavilion in downtown Arlington.
The race will then take the runners north to the entertainment district, through Lincoln Square, past Texas Health Resources Arlington Memorial Hospital, and loop them around the beautiful campus of The University of Texas at Arlington. Runners will truly get a tour of The American Dream City.
It is the mission of the Lone Star Half Marathon and Mayor's 5K to provide a competitive running event for people of mixed abilities.
The money raised goes to benefit Ability Connection Texas. Ability Connection Texas serves adults and children with disabilities throughout the state of Texas.
