The City of Arlington's Community Development and Planning Department continues to develop a strategy for the US 287 Corridor in Southwest Arlington.
Now, the department looking for input from residents in the US 287 and surrounding areas to develop a plan that reflects the identity of the community living there.
The City will host the first of two public meetings on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 6-7:30 p.m. at R.F. Patterson Elementary School, located at 6621 Kelly Elliott Rd. Arlington, TX, 76001.
The meeting will feature a short presentation with an interactive visual preference survey, and various stations available for input on specific topics.
Community Development and Planning received nearly 1,000 survey responses about the project this summer. This public meeting is a chance to review the information that has been gathered so far, and to provide more community input on the direction of the plan.
