La Tropa F, The Drifters Among Performers Announced for Levitt’s Summer Concert Series
Award-winning Tejano band La Tropa F, who rocked the Levitt Pavilion Arlington in 2016, will return for this year's summer concert series.

It's nearly time to break out those lawn chairs and ice chests the Levitt Pavilion's Summer Concert Season is just around the corner!
The Baylor Orthopedic & Spine Hospital 2017 Summer Concert Season will begin May 19 and run through July 23, with concerts Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Concerts will start at 8 p.m. except for concerts after July 3. Those will begin at 8:30 p.m. Be sure to get there early the best lawn seats will go fast!
This year's line-up is full of talented performers and some new faces to the Levitt. Some of the scheduled performers include:
- Sunday, May 21: Country/rock artist Bleu Edmondson
- Saturday, May 28: Award-winning Tejano band, La Tropa F
- Friday, June 2: Humming House, the Americana band with an Irish flair
- Saturday, June 17: Dallas' own Prophets and Outlaws
- Sunday, July 9: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Bluegrass Band, offering Fab Four favorites with a bluegrass flavor
- Friday, July 14: Americana poet Jason Eady
- Saturday, July 16: Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines
But that's not all!
Brad Thompson and the Undulating Band return for Light Up Arlington! On Monday, July 3. Daphne Willis will kick of the night's events with her performance.
If "Under the Boardwalk," "Some Kind of Wonderful," and "Up on the Roof," ring a bell, you won't want to miss The Drifters when they appear on The Levitt stage July 21. Country Music Association Award-winner and Grammy nominee, Junior Brown, brings his American original style to the Levitt on July 22.
Grammy award winners Reckless Kelly will headline opening night of the Downtown Arlington Center Stage Music Festival June 9-11 with their blend of rock and country music.
