U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce-Southwest Recognizes Community, Business Leaders
The U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce-Southwest recently recognized local community and business leaders, including many from Arlington, at its 16th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration.
The U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce-Southwest recently recognized local community and business leaders, including many from Arlington, at its 16th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration.
Grace McDermott, President of USPAACC-SW, honored Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams with the Legacy Visionary Award for his efforts to keep the Texas Rangers in Arlington and to promote the spirit of diversity and inclusion in the city.
Diversity and Inclusion Champion Awards were presented to:
- Kellie Fischer, CFO of the Texas Rangers Baseball Club
- Luwanda Jenkins, vice president for community relations and diversity with The Cordish Companies, which is developing Texas Live! in Arlington
- Don McKneely, founder and president of Minority Business News USA
- Jarilyn Fox, president of MBN Texas
- Scott Murray, president of Murray Media
Outstanding Achievement Awards, designed for those who demonstrate hard work, steadfast commitment and make an impact in their community, were also presented to:
