Terry Meyer is a volunteer with the Arlington Fire Department's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Meyer has volunteered more than 105 hours total since joining the Arlington CERT in 2011. He participates monthly in the Arlington Outdoor Warning Siren test as a siren observer in addition to attending monthly Continuing Education meetings.
During the 2012 Arlington tornado, Meyer volunteered in the Emergency Operations Center as a Support Member. He continues to train and exercise in all areas of training offered in CERT.
We lean on volunteers, like Terry, in order to support the citizens of the City of Arlington in time of need. The Office of Emergency Management appreciates all of the hard work that Terry does to improve our preparedness in the City for disasters.
