Four new fright zones and terrifying attractions will be open to fear-seekers in The American Dream City this weekend at Six Flags Over Texas!
Fright Fest Presented by Snickers begins Saturday, September 26, and continues each weekend throughout the month of October until November 1, 2015.
Once the clock strikes 7 pm, Fright by Night takes total control of the park.
The ghastly ghosts, zombies, and supernatural beings come alive to haunt the park's midways in six free Fright Zones.
Joining last year's Texas Scare-a-tory and Voodoo Swamp, the largest Halloween celebration in North Texas also features four brand new fright zones this year:
- Freaktown Side Show: Once a thriving traveling circus, this side show took a dark turn when jealousy within its community led to "elimination." Today, outsiders are not welcomed inside, or even near, what's left of the tent.
- Bio-Mech Sector: This dilapidated power plant is still just as functional today as the day it opened, except for an evil purpose. Anyone who goes near disappears... for good.
- Camino de los Vampiros: Near the Mexico border lies a village that legends say was taken over by Vampiric outlaws. These monsters have begun to hunt a little further from home.
- Boomtown Terror: The gold rush of 1786 brought visitors to the Boomtown mines, much to the disapproval of locals. To take back their mines, they slaughtered anyone who approached Boomtown. Visitors who go near the mines today are said to never return.
While Fright by Night may be too intense for young children, Thrills by Day offers entertainment and fun the whole family can enjoy such as:
- Looney Tunes SPOOKY TOWN
- Kid's Costume Catwalk
- Scary-Oke
- Six Flags Spooktacular Street Party
