Weekly Lane Closure Look Ahead

Closures are subject to changes due to weather and schedule. Below are anticipated traffic impacts for the coming weeks.

I-30 Main Lanes

• I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Copeland Road
  • Through fall 2020: A temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp will be opened and accessible from Copeland Road between Ballpark Way and SH 360.
• I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection
  • Permanently: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp available from the Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road intersection is closed. Traffic will continue to have access to the ramp to northbound Ballpark Way.
• I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Northbound Ballpark Way
  • Permanently: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp from northbound Ballpark Way is closed for the construction of a new northbound Ballpark Way connector to eastbound Copeland Road.
• I-30 Westbound Exit to Ballpark Way/Baird Farm Road
  • Permanently: The I-30 westbound exit to Ballpark Way/Baird Farm Road is moved further east, closer to SH 360, with traffic now approaching the Ballpark Way intersection from the east side of the roadway. The existing loop ramp is under reconstruction.

I-30 HOV Lanes Between Great Southwest Parkway and Cooper Street

• Westbound I-30 HOV lane west of SH 161
  • Through fall 2020, the westbound HOV lane west of SH 161 will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will be directed into the I-30 westbound general main lanes west of SH 161.
• Eastbound I-30 HOV lane between Center Street and Duncan Perry Road
  • Through fall 2020, the eastbound HOV lane access near Center St and lane through Tarrant County will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will enter at SH 161.

SH 360 Main Lanes and Ramps

• SH 360 Northbound Main Lanes from Interstate 20 to Abram Street
  • Daily, Sept. 26-28, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Single left or right lane closures will occur on northbound SH 360 between I-20 and Abram Street during this time to repair safety devices.
• SH 360 Southbound Main Lanes from Interstate 20 to Abram Street
  • Daily, Sept. 26-28, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Single left or right lane closures will occur on southbound SH 360 between I-20 and Abram Street during this time to repair safety devices.

SH 360 Frontage Road

• SH 360 Northbound Frontage Road from Hollandale Circle to Abram Street
  • Daily, Sept. 24-26, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: The left lane of the SH 360 northbound frontage road between Hollandale Circle and Abram Street will be closed to place concrete traffic safety barrier.
• SH 360 Northbound Frontage Road from Hardy Place to Abram Street
  • Sept 26, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Various lanes will be closed on the SH 360 northbound frontage road between Hardy Place and Abram Street to place concrete traffic safety barrier.
• SH 360 Southbound Frontage Road between Brown Boulevard/Ave K to Johnson Creek
  • Through February 2019: the southbound SH 360 frontage road is reduced to one lane from Brown Boulevard/Ave K to Johnson Creek for reconstruction of the new SH 360 southbound frontage road and access with southbound SH 360.
• SH 360 Southbound Frontage Road between Six Flags Drive and Randol Mill Road
  • Continuously, through Oct. 12: The right, outside lane of SH 360 southbound frontage road between Six Flags Drive and Randol Mill Road will be closed for pavement construction.
• Southbound-to-Northbound U-turn at Mayfield Road
  • Sept. 24-Sept. 28: Daily, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Mayfield Road will be closed for demolition and bridge work.
• Northbound-to-Southbound U-turn at Mayfield Road
  • Sept. 24-Sept. 28: Daily, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Mayfield Road will be closed for demolition and bridge work.

Local Streets

• Ballpark Way
  • Through Summer 2018: The right, outside lane of northbound Ballpark Way between I-30 and Brinker Court will be closed for installation of new westbound I-30 frontage road.
    • Permanent, The northbound Ballpark Way ramp to eastbound I-30 will be closed for reconstruction to connect with Copeland Rd through winter 2019. Northbound Ballpark Way traffic may exit to Copeland Rd, turn right and enter on a temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp.
• Ave F between Ave E to 111th Street
  • Through Fall 2018, eastbound and westbound Ave F traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction and shifted to the south side of Ave F for reconstruction of Ave F.
• Ave G
  • Through Fall 2018, the 800 block of Ave G is limited to westbound traffic movement.
• Copeland Road
  • Continuously, eastbound Copeland Road between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive is reduced to one lane for general construction.
  • Temporary: Copeland Rd access to Six Flags Drive will be closed through winter 2019 for reconstruction of bridges over Johnson Creek and new pavement to Six Flags Drive. Traffic will be forced onto the new temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp between Johnson Creek and SH 360.
  • PERMANENT: Copeland Road between Six Flags Drive and the SH 360 southbound frontage road is closed.
  • PERMANENT: Westbound Copeland Road from Six Flags to just east of Ballpark Way is permanently closed. Only eastbound Copeland Road traffic is allowed between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive.
• Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection
  • Permanently: the I-30 eastbound entrance ramp available from this intersection is removed permanently from service. Access to northbound Ballpark Way will be maintained.
