The inaugural Downtown Arlington Brewing Arts Festival, held this past weekend in the Urban Union district, featured artists, interactive art activities for attendees, live music and plenty of fun for adults and children alike.
Visitors browsed artists' booths, checked out local businesses and breweries and enjoyed bands at the new festival, hosted by the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation. Through activities such as a graffiti canvas and a painting station, children and even adults were encouraged to express their creativity. Organizers say the festival aimed to introduce visitors to the creative community as well as to encourage them to explore Downtown's growing number of breweries and other businesses.
