Minor Train Derailment Causes Temporary Division Street Closure Near Stadium Drive

East and westbound lanes of Division Street near Stadium Drive in Arlington will be closed through noon today while a minor train derailment that occurred yesterday is cleared.

Drivers are encouraged to use Randol Mill Road or Abram Street as alternatives or to use the Waze app to find a convenient route around the Division Street closure.

No injuries were reported during the Union Pacific derailment, which occurred Thursday on a rail crossing above Division Street. The street closure is necessary while Union Pacific removes the derailed train cars.
