With the new school year just around the corner, AISD parents around Arlington are getting ready to pre-register their children online.
For those who need a little help navigating the process, the Arlington Public Library is offering help sessions August 8-12 at the East Arlington Branch Library, 1624 New York Ave., Arlington 76010. Times are different each day so as to accommodate varying schedules, and Spanish-speaking staff will be available.
Monday, August 8, 2-4 p.m.
Tuesday, August 9, 10 a.m. to Noon
Wednesday, August 10, 3-5 p.m.
Thursday, August 11, 9-11 a.m.
Friday, August 12, 2-4 p.m.
No registration is required. Parents are asked to bring the Snapcode provided on their child's AISD registration letter. Session times can be viewed on the library's program calendar.
The library has public computers and free wireless internet at each of its seven locations. Library cardholders can use public computers for one-hour sessions. Those who do not have a card may sign up for one by showing a state-issued ID and proof of Arlington residence, or purchase a one-hour guest pass for $1.
