Get ready to light up Downtown Arlington this weekend!
Arlington's annual Holiday Lights Parade is set to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017. Scott Cross, the University of Texas at Arlington Head Men's Basketball Coach is the parade grand marshal.
But the fun begins hours earlier, with live music and reindeer games starting at 2 p.m. The traditional tree lighting in front of City Hall is set between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., following the parade.
The parade will begin at the corner of Lampe and South streets, traveling past spots such as City Hall, the Levitt Pavilion and the Arlington Museum of Art. The parade ends at the corner of Abram and Lampe Streets, just east of Cooper Street.

This year's Holiday Lights Parade entertainment includes an artificial snowball fight from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., pictures with Santa between 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Levitt Pavilion and a screening of the movie Elf starting at 7:15 p.m.
