Heading out to AT&T Stadium for the NFL Draft Experience this weekend? Here's your chance to also experience a ride on the transportation technology of the future.

The City of Arlington is offering free rides on the Milo autonomous shuttle on a first-come, first-serve basis during the NFL Draft event, set for April 26-28.

Milo will operate from:

  • 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday
  • 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday
  • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Seating is limited to six passengers per trip. Pick up and drop off locations will be at the Arlington Convention Center north of Globe Life Park and the pedestrian bridge on the east side of AT&T Way, just north of Randol Mill Road.

Arlington is leasing two of these electric shuttle vehicles as part of a one-year pilot program to explore autonomous transportation technology in a real-world setting.

Those who are interested in learning more about the vehicles can visit www.arlingtontx.gov/milo.

Riders will be able to participate in a City survey about their experience.

The Milo shuttles typically operate approximately one hour before and one hour after major events at AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park in Arlington's Entertainment District. The shuttles are programmed to run along select off-street trails in Richard Greene Linear Park and Robert Cluck Linear Park between the two venues and will pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.
