SH 360 South Project: Major Street Closures Scheduled for Early December

Due to scheduling concerns, the entrance ramp closure at northbound SH 360, north of Sublett Road/Camp Wisdom Road, will be delayed and rescheduled after the holidays.

The Davis Road closure will proceed as planned.

SH 360 South Project

Effective Dec. 2, Davis Rd will not have direct access to SH 360. This is a long-term closure to allow construction of new frontage roads.

The SH 360 South Project has scheduled two major lane closures for early December 2016.

Effective Dec. 2, Davis Road will not have direct access to SH 360. This is a long-term closure to allow construction of new frontage roads in the area.

Currently vehicles can drive west on Davis Road and access SH 360. After Dec. 2, drivers will be detoured to eastbound Davis Road to US 287 to then access SH 360. In addition, access to Davis Road will only be available via US 287.

Upon completion of the project, Davis Road will have direct access to the new SH 360 northbound frontage road.

SH 360 South Project

A temporary closure of the northbound SH 360 entrance ramp from Sublett Rd/Camp Wisdom Rd will go into effect through Dec. 16.

Also on Dec. 2, a temporary closure of the northbound SH 360 entrance ramp from Sublett Road/Camp Wisdom Road will go into effect through Dec. 16.

During this time drivers will use the entrance ramp north of Green Oaks Boulevard/ Kingswood Boulevard to gain access to northbound SH 360.

About the SH 360 South Project

The SH 360 South Project is a $330 million design-build construction project in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the North Central Texas Council of Governments and local cities and counties to improve mobility, enhance safety and connect communities. Once complete, the toll road will be operated by NTTA.

Beginning in fall 2015, the 9.7-mile project stretches from Green Oaks Boulevard to US 287. The project will provide through lanes that will improve mobility throughout the rapidly developing corridor in addition to improving traffic flow for local businesses and residents along the SH 360 frontage roads. Construction is anticipated to be complete in spring 2018. Construction management for the design-build project is led by the Lane | Abrams Joint Venture.
