General Motors Financial today announced the completion of a new addition to its Arlington Operations Center campus in Arlington, Texas, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that featured remarks from State Sen. Brian Birdwell, State Rep. Chris Turner, City of Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams and GM Financial President and CEO Dan Berce. The $35 million investment is the Company's fourth office location in the city of Arlington, and will house 1,300 employees working in core functions such as loan services, customer experience, remarketing solutions and human resources.
GM Financial's workforce has grown to approximately 4,500 team members across the state of Texas, with 75 percent of these employees based in the city of Arlington, where the Company has nearly doubled in size and employment since 2014. GM Financial's physical presence in the state of Texas represents integral parts of its business, including the Company's corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, operations center campus in Arlington, a servicing center in San Antonio that opens in 2017, and other operational facilities across the state.
