Construction work on the SH 360 South project could affect some drivers in South Arlington over the weekend, starting Friday morning.
Below are the anticipated closures for the latest construction phase. Visit www.drive360south.com for more information.
Sublett/Camp Wisdom at SH 360
The contractors working at the Camp Wisdom/Sublett and SH 360 area will be closing a lane on both of the eastbound and westbound detours between the SH 360 frontage roads from 9 a.m. Friday, November 3 through late on Sunday, November 5 for paving activities. This will also reduce the number of available northbound and southbound at both of the intersections. Drivers should expect delays.
New York Avenue at SH 360
New York Avenue will be closed between the SH 360 frontage roads from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 4. Delays are expected. Drivers should follow detour routes.
About the project:
Construction on the $340 million SH 360 South design-build project is on track for completion next spring.
The SH 360 South Project is being built in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the North Central Texas Council of Governments and local cities and counties to improve mobility, enhance safety and connect communities. Once complete, the toll road will be operated by NTTA.
The 9.7-mile project, which began in fall 2015, stretches from Green Oaks Boulevard in Arlington to US 287. The project will improve mobility throughout the rapidly developing corridor in addition to improving traffic flow for local businesses and residents along the SH 360 frontage roads.
