"Dream Builders" is a new show on MyArlingtonTV that highlights the ways our community is helping kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.
The latest episode features Tiara and Tyra Lewis, twin sisters and Seguin High School graduates making a difference in The American Dream City.
The Lewis sisters will both be attending The University of Texas at Arlington this fall and will major in aerospace engineering.
During their time at Seguin High School, both Tiara and Tyra appeared on AISD TV. Tiara was also a Richard Greene scholar for the City of Arlington and Tyra partnered with UT Arlington to conduct paleoclimate research, which is the study of past climates.
The Lewis sisters also hope to give back to the community, with an idea to develop a nonprofit foundation called "Music for the Mind." The goal of the nonprofit would be to bring music as a positive influence to inner city kids and special needs children.
All episodes are also available on the City's YouTube channel.
